Sia Bawkar, Explain the background of you and the company in detail.
I am the Co-Founder & Managing Director at SIAS Group. With myriad experiences in my portfolio. I found solace in the immigration industry, and I am utilizing my expertise and skills to help expats achieve their immigration dreams through SIAS Group. For me, trust is the core value of any venture, and I would rather lose money than the trust of my customers. I am a decision-maker, aiming to make my company a leading one in UAE and other regions.
SIAS Group is a leading immigration company dealing with second citizenship programs, Canadian immigration and jobs in various countries in Europe with owned offices in Dubai, India, Canada & Europe. Through SIAS Group, we serve expats contemplating advanced future, safety, security, new beginnings and settlements. We are committed to offering expert guidance to our clients for several Immigration and Citizenship through investment programs.

We want our company to be the topmost choice of clients as a brand associated with trust, honesty and integrity. As a trustworthy organization, we always focus on being a trusted partner to clients, which will also be a leading factor in achieving our goals of becoming a client’s top choice.
Sia Bawkar, What do you feel is the biggest strength of yourself/company right now?
If you ask me personally, my strength is my zeal to become one of the leading companies in the UAE in the immigration industry. For the company, our vision, mission and values act as our biggest strength which keeps us pushing forward towards achieving our goals.
What was the path you/your company took to get to where you are today?
Every step of our journey to where we stand today is meticulously planned, and our experiences have led us to the place we stand today. We do in-depth market studies before launching our programs which we even follow for our management activities. Our seamless processes and teamwork have a huge role in helping us reach this position today.
Sia Bawkar, Why did you start (or want to be the head of) this company?
As a team, my husband, the company’s CEO, and I have almost 2 decades of work experience. Hence, we decided to put our experiences to a better benefit or work for ourselves. You want to do a lot more for the organization and the society that we could not do when we were working. So, we decided to have our own venture where we are the decision-makers and in control too.
What have been the biggest challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Finding the right channel partners and at the same time gaining the trust of our clients. The industry has many players who also claim to be the leading companies being around for decades but have left the clients with false promises, shoddy/fake paperwork and timeless delays. This leads to difficulties in gaining trust. However, we are pushing forward with hard work and being a trustable partner to our clients.

Sia Bawkar, What makes you excited about Mondays?
Failing to plan is planning to fail. This is what we are pretty sure we have our planned roadmaps for the week chalked down and followed to the end. Mondays bring fresh beginnings for the week where we as a team discuss our weekly plans.
What do you value most about your culture and vision?
Our culture is to provide equal opportunity to all, and our vision is to be known as a trusted name in the global markets that we have plans to move into in the next few years.
Tell us about a project that forced you to be innovative and creative.
Thankfully we have a rich and experienced management team who keeps thinking out of the box. We do not restrict ourselves to the routine business generation ideas of approaching clients in social media. Instead, we also have ways and means of business generation. Referral schemes, freelance teams, seminars, webinars are a few of our innovative ideas, but we have gone beyond the traditional ways of getting business too.
What are your company’s strategies, and how do they stand unique from your competitors?
Trusted partners. Setting up global reach. Go and see approach towards our suppliers are some of the steps we take to ensure that our clients do not suffer in the hands of the companies we send them. We have travelled to many parts of Europe and will continue to do so. That’s because we have expansion plans for the future.
What key values helped you overcome the roadblocks/challenges in your career? Tell us something about your memorable incident in your leadership.
We refund 100% of the amount if we have not done any work or even in cases we found overtly delayed from the time committed to our clients. A specific national could not clear the interview in one case, and we refunded the whole amount. It almost brought tears to our client’s eyes. He mentioned that he has been in the UAE for almost 15 years and met many companies who took monies from him and never returned the full amount despite their efforts, and we were the first company to do so. This was a nostalgic moment for us.
How do you see the company changing in two years, and how do you see yourself creating that change?
We evolved in many ways in the past two years. We are still growing from a small office of 200 square feet with 4 staff to a 2000 square feet office of 25 strong team members. We also grew from a share meeting room to a 3-conference room with all our facilities. From an office in UAE to presence in 4 countries -UAE, India, Canada and Europe and several other things in terms of our suppliers and nations keep growing continuously.
What services/solutions or products are offered by your company at par with the current industry standards? Tell us something about your upcoming products or services?
We are an immigration company and also deal in second citizenship and passports. We help with student visas for Canada and Europe. We do work permits for Canada, Europe, the UK, and many more countries to be added in the near future. We plan to start some new businesses in the near future, like asset planning, company incorporation, banking products, etc.
